Meet the Author

Nora Somerville writes fun, sweet, and wholesome middle grade fairytale retellings from her home in the hills of Virginia, where she looks out at beautiful mountains and dreams up fresh twists on classic tales. A lifelong fairytale enthusiast who’s read every retelling she could find, Nora creates stories of heart and hope designed to delight young readers and show them the beauty in the world. When she’s not playing with imaginary characters or exploring made-up worlds, she enjoys embroidery, reading, playing the piano, and adding to her tiara collection (currently at two). She writes because she has too many words and stories inside her that simply must be shared—and because every kid deserves a little magic.
